Non-Skid coating for tufted, latch hook and needlepunch rugs.
Saf-T-Bak will make your rugs highly resistant to sliding, will increase the life of your rug, and it stays on after repeated washings. Anchors loops and fibers thus preventing unraveling and tuft loss and helps your rugs retain their shape.
Saf-T-Bak is applied to back of rug using paintbrush and requires 24 hours to dry. Approximate coverage rate is 6 sq. ft. per pint. Coverage rate may be lower with highly porous yarns.
Because I have had numerous questions about using this product on hand crochet or knitted slippers to make them slip-resistant, I tried it out myself and IT WORKS GREAT. So, YES, you can use it for many purposes, and it survives the washing machine and the dryer .
